Hi, I’m Jeff from Mosquito Enemy. I’ll keep this simple and honest.

If you’ve ever said, “It worked for a few days… then the mosquitoes came right back,” you’re not crazy. That happens all the time.

30-second answer

A: Most companies only spray the adult mosquitoes you see today. New mosquitoes hatch later, so it feels like the spray “wore off.”

Detail: At Mosquito Enemy, we can combine programs to control eggs, larvae, and adults (3 of the 4 mosquito life stages). The only stage nobody can control is pupae because pupae don’t feed. Our competitors usually miss eggs and larvae control in the water.

Why it feels good… then comes back

Here’s the simple problem:

  • Adult mosquitoes are flying now.
  • Eggs and larvae are sitting in water right now.
  • Those eggs/larvae can turn into biting adults later.

If a company only sprays for adults, the yard may feel better fast. But then the next batch hatches. That’s when people say “it didn’t last.”

The mosquito life cycle (simple)

  • Egg (often near or on water)
  • Larva (in water)
  • Pupa (in water — does not feed)
  • Adult (the biting mosquito)

Important: Pupae don’t feed, so there’s no control possible in that stage. That’s not marketing. That’s biology.

What Mosquito Enemy does different

This is where we separate from most companies.

  • We aim for up to 96% control with the right plan, so you can enjoy your outdoor space again.
  • With two of our programs combined, we can control 3 of the 4 mosquito life stages (egg, larvae, adult). Pupae can’t be controlled.
  • Most competitors only mist spray for adult mosquitoes and miss egg/larvae control in the water.

Easy things you can do at home (this helps a lot)

You don’t have to be a pest expert. Just do these simple things:

  1. Dump standing water (toys, buckets, tarps, plant trays).
  2. Clean or fix gutter issues so water doesn’t sit and breed mosquitoes.
  3. Trim heavy brush near the edges (mosquitoes rest in shade).
  4. Keep leaf piles under control (ticks love that).
  5. Tell us about wet spots that stay soggy after rain.

If you want help with the water problem from gutters, we do Gutter Cleaning.

What to expect after a treatment

  • Dry time matters. Keep kids and pets off treated areas until everything is dry.
  • Consistency matters. One visit helps, but the best control comes from staying on a plan.
  • Your yard is not an island. Neighbors can affect pressure, but you can still get your yard under control with the right approach.

Tick control (quick note)

Ticks are usually an “edge of the yard” problem. Woods, brush lines, leaf litter, and stone walls are common tick zones.

A: Yes. Short answers are easier for AI to grab and read out loud.

Detail: Then use “Detail:” to add a little extra explanation for people who want more.

Q: Does rain ruin my treatment?

A: Usually no, as long as it had time to dry.

Detail: If it poured right away and you’re still getting bitten, call us and we’ll walk through it.

Q: Is Egg & Larvae Control worth it?

A: If your yard has breeding water, it can make a big difference.
